Chain of Custody and Forest Management
LEAD AUDITOR
The Requirement
As a freelance/sub-contract Lead Auditor working on behalf of Bureau Veritas, you will be responsible for managing audits within the standards of Forest Stewardship Council® (FSC) and Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification (PEFC), evaluating compliance against the defined requirements and delivering results in accordance with set schedules and deadlines.
We’re looking to partner with an Assessor with 10+ years of relevant work experience within the forest sector, timber, paper, packaging or furniture industry or processes, chain of custody systems or traceability. It is an advantage if you have a higher education or have long experience from the forest sector and if you are Lead Auditor in ISO or CoC/ FM systems or you have experience with auditing and standards e.g. from internal quality management systems. We also expect ability to quickly build relationships with high profile clients across the country and possibly other Nordic countries.
Qualified in ISO9001 or ISO14001, as a third party auditor you will have a questioning attitude, ability to quickly identify issues and report them in a consultative manner. You will have excellent communication skills, good IT knowledge and high level of professional integrity and ability to organize and manage your time.
Freelancer/Sub-Contractor availability to carry out audits (days per month / days per year) is open to negotiation and is expected to range from a few days to full time availability in a certain month.
